About
A researcher who designs, and a designer who never stops asking "how do we know."
A Letter to My Next Team
For 7+ years, I've turned research into outcomes organizations can point to: $5M+ in business value, 10M+ users reached, and a donation flow redesign that lifted completion from 18% to 72% at Oxfam GB. I've done this across a humanitarian charity, a fintech company, an ed-tech startup, and now NSF-funded science gateways at SGX3, while pursuing a PhD in Technology at Purdue. Different stakes, same method: find out what's true before deciding what to build.
What I bring isn't just research, it's discipline: I hold accessibility to the same bar as usability, and increasingly, I build the solution myself, using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to ship real things instead of only writing specs.
I lead a 300+ member community at the Charity UX Network and have mentored 200+ designers into their first roles, because impact compounds when it's taught, not just shipped. That's what I want to bring to my next team: someone who raises the bar for the people around them, not just their own output.
